Hello, and welcome. It's good to be back in the land of the bloggers lol.I haven't posted for over a year, but I have still been playing online at Pokerstars,Full Tilt and now and again at Carbon.I still just play micro MTT/STT's,but am doing ok (click the pic above to see how I got on in an 18 player $1.50 tourney this morning)
I feel I am a slightly better player than I was a year ago and put this down to reading poker books and also reading some of the poker blogs that are out there. I still just use poker as a way to relax and am really enjoying it at the moment.Anyway enough of my ramblings and I hope to update here once a week or so.

It's summer time and the weather here in Scotland is ok.Even the poker is going not to bad! I am still playing these matrix 4 table tourneys on Full Tilt (click pic above) and am still enjoying them and turning in a small profit. The other places I play online are at Carbon Poker which I really like also (it's just a pity it isn't busier than it is),and Everest Poker which I like also.I think I am gonna stay with these 3 rooms and try and grind a profit at the SnG's.Gonna go out on my motorbike now and make the most of the sunshine.Take care all and thanks for reading.

4 tables at the same time

MANIC! Not the fact that I have posted now for 3 days on the trot (which is a first.) But these new matrix SNG tourneys on full tilt that I have stumbled across. Many of you will know that they are a STT,but you play the same 9 players on 4 different tables at the same time! Only ever playing 1 table at a time before this,I was intrigued and thought I would give it a go. It's mayhem haha,my head was spinning and you need 6 pairs of eyes but it is very enjoyable at the same time.I cashed in the first one I played (click the box above) and have cashed in every one I have played since. The bankroll is starting to rise slowly so I think I might stick with them for a bit.If you haven't played one before, give it a go,and if nothing else you can see if multi-tables are for you.Cheers and good luck.

Full Tilt is Fandabbydossy!

Thank you Mr boss man at Full Tilt for reading my post on this blog last night about all my bad beats on the river (must of had about 12 in the last week.)It was so good of you to contact the programmers and tell them to stop making my blood pressure rocket and start dealing me nice starting hands and no surprises on the river.I am forever grateful to you whoever you are lol.
Yes people its true, after having no luck whatever in the last 7 days (see my post below from yesterday) I have a bit of a rant and Full Tilt give me a break and the first two SNG's I play after yesterdays rant and I cash both times.Once again thank you Mr boss man and I will never bad mouth your wonderful poker room again.Cheers.

Why does Full Tilt hate me?

AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH.This is the kind of garbage I have had to deal with for the past week. Now I am not one to complain here too much about bad beats, because everyone gets them from time to time, but Full Tilt is getting beyond a freakin joke! Time and time again I am ahead until the flop then get rammed right up the arse with the same old pish!
Take the example above.Playing tight and and not getting involved in many hands when I get dealt a medium pair, limp in the pot and see a cheap flop, flop my set and push knowing I was ahead. The only other player calls, shows AA and the rest is history! Never mind though because there is always Everest Poker and all it's French fish to fall back on lol. Now I am never going to be a brilliant poker player but some of the plays on Everest beggers belief, but if they want to throw their euros away then thats up to them I suppose.Good luck all and hope to see you at the tables.

Still feeling good about poker.

Hi and welcome.I am enjoying playing at Everest poker and am actually doing rather well there. The software is good and once you get to know the players at your table who cannot let go of Ace-rag and play it EVERY time they get it,they are there for the taking as long as an Ace is not part of the flop.Another thing I have noticed playing there is that approx 60-70% of the players are French and I have not seen one player from the UK there yet!

I know I said in an earlier post that I was cutting back on the amount of time I play online, but to tell the truth I am playing well just now, winning money and just loving every minute of it.Enough of my ramblings, good luck everyone and hope to see you at the virtual felt.

My best result and feeling good

Hi,and it's good to be back in the world that is Poker.I have hardly played in the last six months and feel a hell of alot better for it.To tell the truth I felt that Poker was taking over my life, every spare moment I had I was firing up an online table, and it got to the stage where I was ignoring more important things in my life.BUT NOT ANYMORE!
Last night I downloaded the Everest Poker software and deposited $15 just for a laugh.I entered a 354 runner $2 rebuy tourney and came in 6th for $110 and my best payday yet lol.
But what pleased me more was when just after making the money I got dealt KK and was gonna push the lot in the middle.I was in late position but 3 players went all-in ahead of me.I thought for a bit but really did think one of the three had AA,so I folded. When the cards were revealed pre-flop I would of been up against AQ,A10 and QQ,the river produced another Q and I'm so glad I folded my kings .Six months ago I would of pushed so I figure I am thinking better after my six month break.Take care people and I hope to post again soon.
